কেশিয়া

A large evergreen coniferous tree, commonly growing about 30–35 meters tall when mature, with favorable specimens reaching around 40–45 meters.It develops a tall, generally straight trunk with thick, deeply fissured bark. Its long, slender needles typically occur in bundles of three, and mature trees produce woody brown cones. The tree is an important source of timber and resin. Its wood is used for construction, furniture, boxes, pulp and other general-purpose products. Pinus kesiya grows naturally in subtropical and tropical mountainous regions, generally performing well in sunny, well-drained sites at moderate to high elevations. It can tolerate relatively dry seasonal conditions once established.
